How to get started

Please read the following paragraphs to get the full benefit from the information available on the Frigg Industrial Heritage site.

This site is developed with relatively up-to-date technology, and we would accordingly recommend that you use Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or newer.

Microsoft Internet Explorer is available from   http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com
Mozilla can be downloaded from
http://www.firefox.com

Some parts of the Frigg Industrial Heritage site also need Adobe Flash Player. This can be downloaded here:  http://www.adobe.com/go/getflashplayer

The site includes film and audio clips. To watch and listen to these, you need to have RealPlayer installed on your computer. This programme is available in two versions - Premium (paid) and Basic (free) - from the Real Network site http://europe.real.com/player

Some of the documents on the site are in PDF format. You will need Adobe Reader to access these. http://www.adobe.com/reader

Some of the platforms present 360-degree pictures. To view these, you need a component from Apple QuickTime. This can be downloaded here: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download
